The Bradenton Police Department has terminated the employment of a patrol officer following her arrest overnight by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. Quinlyn Parnau, 29, faces charges of domestic battery and burglary of an occupied dwelling. The allegations stem from an off-duty domestic violence incident that occurred early Wednesday morning, May 6, 2026. The investigation by MCSO is ongoing, and BPD has no further information to provide at this time.
Parnau joined the agency in 2020.

Chief of Police Josh Cramer sent the following message to our officers earlier today.

“As officers, our badges, authority, and profession demand that we are accountable for our actions on and off-duty. The actions of those who violate the public trust do not define our department, but our response to their actions does.

Professionalism, courage, and transparency are not just words in our mission statement – they are the energy that fuels our department. Please continue doing the great work you do in and for our community every day.”
