Great to be in Bradenton this morning to sign legislation that will preserve Florida’s coastlines and support coastal resiliency.
 
✔️ SB 302 protects Terra Ceia Aquatic Preserve from being developed into a cruise ship terminal along the Sunshine Skyway in Manatee County.
✔️ SB 302 will build on the results we’ve already seen from our investments in coastal resiliency and help restore wetlands, oyster reefs, and mangroves.
✔️ HB 1417 streamlines environmental rulemaking to protect our natural resources and keep our economy thriving.
 
Florida is blessed with a beautiful coastline and natural environment, and my administration is committed to protecting the God-given treasures of our state.
