Crews battle structure fire in North Port

NPFR, North Port Police Department and FPL are on scene of a working structure fire in the 3000 block of Dennis Street. Crews encountered heavy smoke showing from all sides upon arrival. The fire went through the attic, causing a partial roof collapse. The fire is under control, with no injuries to occupants or fire personnel. No damage to surrounding homes. The State Fire Marshal has been contacted regarding the incident.
