Charlotte County search warrant leads to arrest for possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and firearms

Yesterday the Narcotics Unit conducted a search warrant at 2208 Lee Terr. in Port Charlotte with the assistance of SWAT, Aviation, K-9, Marine Patrol, STAR, and Community Policing Officers. During the search of the residence, detectives located methamphetamine, fentanyl, firearms with ammunition and numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia. At the conclusion of the search warrant, five subjects were placed under arrest.
 
“Some people never learn from their mistakes no matter how many times they visit the inside of a jail cell. I am proud of my Narcotics Unit for working diligently to clean up Charlotte County and keep it the slice of paradise we all get to call home. As these individuals face the justice system, I sincerely hope they answer the wake-up call to either clean up or get out.” – Sheriff Bill Prummell
