Charlotte County Fire takes action to extinguish a vehicle fire at Piper Road and Cheney Way

At 12:57 a.m., Charlotte County Fire & EMS was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire at Piper Road and Cheney Way. Crews arrived to find a fully involved tractor fire at Marden Industries off Airport Road.
Crews worked quickly to contain and extinguish the fire, preventing further spread. There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is unknown.
