SCSO bust an after hours e-biker with a stolen bicycle on the Legacy Trail

While assisting on an unrelated call, AIR 2 spotted a suspicious person riding an e-bike after park hours on the Legacy Trail. When he tried to hide in a wooded area, deputies — guided from above — quickly located him and recovered discarded items, including a reflective vest labeled “Police,” a ski mask, gloves, glass breaker, and paraphernalia.

The e-bike he was riding was confirmed stolen, and further investigation revealed he had an extraditable felony warrant out of California for a parole violation and shared he’s a gang member. He was taken into custody without incident.
