Fugitive in Venice Apprehended for Extradition to Indiana

On February 17, 2026, our Fugitive Apprehension Unit was alerted to locate Adria P. Wilkerson, wanted by Grant County, Indiana, for serious charges, including Reckless Homicide. After a thorough investigation, we found Wilkerson at a relative’s home in Venice, Florida.
 
With the warrant made public by Indiana media, immediate action was crucial. Our team set up surveillance at the residence and spotted Wilkerson in a vehicle driven by her relative. A traffic stop was conducted nearby, leading to Wilkerson’s arrest without incident. She is now in the Sarasota County Correctional Facility, awaiting extradition to Indiana.
