Thoughts on this communicaty from Bryant? The video is a portion of the depo, where an officer admits to signing the trespass affidavit without witnessing what took place and he did not write the affidavit that he signed off on. Bryant has had a controversial relationship w police in Charlotte County via his reporting for several years.

I was illegally trespassed without a right to appeal by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s office, while I was running for Sheriff because I made an internal affairs complaint against the sheriff and then I was crucified in TV and newspapers. Officer Chris Williams finally admitted in the second-round of discovery that he signed the trespass warrant, but he did not see what took place and he did not write the narrative.

 

My rights were violated for a whole year I could not make public records request or go to any kind of meeting at any of the sheriff’s offices. I’ve been independent reporter for 12 years and the police are not some of my biggest supporters.
