SCSO successfully shuts down another illegal gambling operation

BREAKING NEWS SCSO, in collaboration with the Florida Gaming Control Commission (FGCC), has successfully shut down an illegal gambling operation at the Paradise Arcade, 6030 N. Lockwood Ridge Rd., Sarasota. 2 women, Kelly A. Mallia (DOB 11/27/77) and Valerie A. Mallia (DOB 11/14/63), were arrested on December 16.
During a search, authorities seized 81 slot machines in addition to cash. 
The slot machines are now securely stored as the investigation continues. This operation follows a Cease-and-Desist order issued earlier this year.
