Suncoast: Fire destorys mobile home on Golf Course Blvd

At 4:22 p.m., Charlotte County Fire & EMS was dispatched to Golf Course Blvd. for a residential structure fire.
When crews arrived, they found a shed fully engulfed in flames with four exposures, meaning nearby property threatened by the fire. These included two mobile homes, a golf cart, and a truck. Firefighters worked quickly to contain the fire and prevent further damage.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental electrical. Remember to always inspect outdoor electrical cords and outlets for damage to help prevent fires.
