Step into the magic: North Port Poinsettia Parade & Festival returns Dec. 6

CITY OF NORTH PORT, FL — The City of North Port invites the community to kick off the holiday season at the highly anticipated Poinsettia Parade & Festival, presented by Quality TV and Resurrection Pools respectively, on Saturday, Dec. 6! This year’s theme, “Once Upon a North Port Holiday,” sets the stage for a day of family-friendly fun, festive cheer, and holiday magic. This event offers free admission, parking and a shuttle service from the Morgan Family Community Center for those seeking an additional parking option.
The festivities begin with the Poinsettia Festival, presented by Resurrection Pools, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the City Center (4970 City Hall Blvd.). Guests can explore the Yuletide Shopping and Food Village featuring local vendors, holiday merchandise and seasonal treats. Families will enjoy the Candy Cane Kid Zone with bounce houses, games and activities for all ages, along with hands-on crafts at the Little Elves Craft Workshop.
Don’t forget to stop by Santa’s Photo Stop to meet the jolliest guest of all, snap a festive photo and share your holiday wish list. Santa will be available for photos from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the George Mullen Activity Center before heading out to help lead the evening’s highlight—the Poinsettia Parade.
At 5 p.m., the Poinsettia Parade, presented by Quality TV, steps off with dazzling floats, performers and marching bands lighting up Sumter Boulevard in a holiday procession like no other. Expect creative designs, festive costumes and North Port’s incredible community spirit on full display. It’s the perfect time to gather with family and friends, snuggle up and enjoy the magic of the season.
