Sarasota man arrested on 40 counts of possessing child pornography

Recent Arrest Notice: In May, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit launched a thorough investigation following a cyber tip about potential child pornography possession on Maiden Lane, Sarasota.
On October 1st, with the coordinated efforts of SWAT, UAS, ICAC, and TAC, we executed a search and charged the suspect, Kyle Hilferty (W/M, DOB 10/04/97). Hilferty now faces 40 counts of possession of child pornography.
