Nokomis drug bust takes cocaine, crack, pills and more off the streets

On 9/21, deputies arrested a suspect at a Nokomis gas station after a traffic stop revealed a stolen Glock 26 – 9mm, 142.1 grams of powder cocaine, 35.6 grams of crack cocaine, 44.7 grams of raw marijuana, numerous bags of pills, and more.

The suspect, Clydrick Antoine Lewis (DOB 11/20/1985), a convicted felon, faces multiple charges, including firearm possession and drug trafficking. The rented vehicle contained a black shoulder bag with more drugs and cash.

Lewis faces the following charges:

• Possession of a Firearm by Florida Convicted Felon

• Possession of Ammunition by a Florida Convicted Felon

• Trafficking in Cocaine (Armed)

• Trafficking in MDMA (Armed)

• Possession of Amphetamine/Dextroamphetamine

• Possession of Alprazolam

• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

• Resisting without Violence
