North Port: Fourth suspect in custody for the Hobblebrush Dr home invasion

UPDATE: We now have a fourth suspect in custody in connection to the home invasion that occurred on Hobblebrush Drive on May 23. Akeem Davis of Orlando has been arrested, thanks to the tireless work of our detectives and the support of the U.S. Marshals. While this remains an active investigation, all known suspects in the case are now in custody.

EARLIER: The North Port Police Department, in collaboration with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), has arrested three suspects involved in a targeted armed home invasion that occurred on May 23, 2025, in the 2500 block of Hobblebrush Drive.
Robert St. Germain, of Port St. Lucie, Anton Bradley Brown, of the Miami area, and Adlet Javon Francis, of Orlando, are in custody following coordinated efforts by North Port Police detectives and FDLE special agents.
During the initial incident, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at approximately 1:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of Hobblebrush Drive. The investigation revealed that three unidentified black males posed as Amazon delivery drivers to lure a young female resident to the door. When she opened it, the men, all armed, forced their way inside.
The suspects stole cash and ransacked the residence in search of additional valuables. They then held the daughter and mother inside the home while waiting for the father to return. Around 5 p.m., the father arrived, noticed the front door was locked, and attempted to enter through the back. He was confronted by one of the suspects, and a brief struggle ensued. The suspects eventually fled the scene.
One of the suspects later located an unoccupied Ford F-150 with the keys inside. The suspect stole the truck and fled the area. The vehicle was recovered later that weekend in a shopping center off Kings Highway in Port Charlotte.
North Port Police crime scene technicians processed the primary scene and surrounding areas, recovering critical evidence, including discarded items believed to have been left by the suspects.
This was a targeted incident, not a random act of violence. One of the suspects is known to the victim.
“This case demonstrates the relentless commitment of our detectives, our Real Time Intelligence Center Analysts, and the critical partnership we share with FDLE.” North Port Police Chief Todd Garrison said. “Their tireless work has been instrumental in advancing this investigation and bringing those responsible to justice.”
The message is clear: if you come to North Port and victimize our residents, we will hold you accountable.
