Suncoast: Car and trailer are quickly engulfed in flames

The C-shift crew of Engines 2, 3, 4, Rescue 4, and Battalion 3 responded to a reported structure fire in an isolated area off Oxbow St. in West County at about 2:50 a.m. on May 2. Upon arrival, the crew found a pickup truck and two camper trailers fully engulfed in flames. They quickly extinguished the fire and kept it from spreading into the woods and a nearby structure.
A resident suffered minor burns on his hand but did not want to be taken to hospital. Fire Marshal Scott Morris also responded and is investigating the fire.
