Previous:

Around 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning, NPPD was called for a reported shooting in the area of Cincinnati Street and Boca Chica Avenue. One individual has been flown to the hospital. We are hopeful the individual will survive the injury sustained. Two individuals involved were quickly located at the 7-11 on Toledo Blade Boulevard in the Publix shopping center plaza.

At this time we believe all involved are familiar with each other. There is another individual who we need to locate to talk to. We do not believe there is a threat to the community at this time.

This is an active and ongoing investigation. Detectives are working to piece together what happened and who is responsible. More will be released when appropriate.
