The North Port Police Department has arrested 60-year-old Stephen Hudek on multiple charges, including Sexual Battery with a Weapon or Force on a Child, Sexual Battery with Incapacitated Victim, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Child, False Imprisonment and Resisting/Obstruct an Officer with Violence.

Over the course of months, Hudek victimized the child on multiple occasions, including using drugs that caused them to be unable to move, and oftentimes using a weapon to get what he wanted.

Hudek fought officers upon his arrest. He is currently in the Sarasota County Jail with no bond.

“This is an especially heinous crime. We are hopeful that our victim will now get the help they need and that Mr. Hudek will now get at least some of what he deserves,” says North Port Police Chief Todd Garrison.
