One person is dead after a shooting in Osprey on Saturday

A deadly shooting took place yesterday morning in Osprey in the area of Highland Rd and Westview Dr.  The shooting occurred around 7:17 in the morning on yesterday (Saturday).  One individual has died and as of this morning, it is still not clear what took place.  If you have information on the shooting, contact the SCSO at 941.861.4900 or Crime Stoppers at 941.366.8477.
