North Port Police are investigating a homicide involving a female

The North Port Police Department is currently conducting a homicide investigation. The incident happened in the 3700 block of South Haberland Boulevard around 9 p.m. Monday night. Investigators are currently still on scene. A female was located there deceased.
If anyone has any information pertaining to this case, including anyone with dash cam video or doorbell video in the vicinity between the hours of 3 p.m. and 9 p.m Monday Sept. 26, please call 941-429-7382.
