Level A evacuation for Sarasota County

LEVEL A EVACUATION – Evacuation centers in Sarasota County will open TUESDAY at noon to accommodate individuals in evacuation level A. Level A includes the barrier islands and those who live in mobiles homes, RVs or on a boat.
Please note: An evacuation center should be a last resort, if you have nowhere else to go. Plan to eat a meal before you arrive and bring your hurricane kit supplies (bedding, toiletries, flashlight, snacks, medications).
