The City of Venice Solid Waste division will collect residents’ garbage, recycling and yard waste as usual on Tuesday, Sept. 27.
There will be NO COLLECTION of residential garbage, recycling and yard waste in the City on Wednesday, Sept. 28 and Thursday, Sept. 29.
Venice Solid Waste will collect commercial dumpster for both Tuesday and Wednesday. Solid Waste will not collect dumpsters again until Friday, but will collect 2 days’ worth including Thursday’s.
The Sarasota County Landfill will close on Wednesday, Sept. 28, and is expected to be open Friday, Sept. 30.
