City of North Port remembering 9/11

The City of North Port is dedicated to remembering those who lost their lives in the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. The City is also remembering the heroism of first responders and military during and after. There are several ways the North Port community and media members can remember with us.

Saturday Sept. 10 – Remember the Fallen 5k Memorial Run hosted by North Port Fire Rescue Honor Guard. Many members from North Port and nearby agencies will be running in full uniform.

Sunday Sept. 11 – Patriots Day Ceremony hosted by the North Port Police Department. The community is invited to the ceremony which will honor all patriots including military, fire, police and EMS.
