Trump Suggests FBI May Have ‘Planted’ Evidence To Frame Him During Mar-a-Lago Raid

Former President Donald Trump suggested that the FBI prevented his lawyers from observing their raid of Mar-a-Lago because they could have been “planting” evidence.
“The FBI and others from the Federal Government would not let anyone, including my lawyers, be anywhere near the areas that were rummaged and otherwise looked at during the raid on Mar-a-Lago,” Trump said Wednesday on Truth Social, his social media platform.
“Everyone was asked to leave the premises, they wanted to be left alone, without any witnesses to see what they were doing, taking or, hopefully not, ‘planting.’ Why did they STRONGLY insist on having nobody watching them, everybody out? Obama and Clinton were never ‘raided,’ despite big disputes!”
Likewise, a British publication reported that a source close to Trump claimed a “disloyal aide” likely planted classified docs in boxes of documents taken to Mar-a-Lago after Trump left office.
“They [the FBI] won’t come out empty handed,” the source told Politicalite.
“As if Trump were stupid enough to do what they said he did. The only thing that could have happened is that a disloyal aid planted it in a box that was moved out in January of 2021,” the source claimed.
“They wouldn’t have gone in without expecting a result,” they added.
After the FBI executed its raid of the Mar-a-Lago resort on Monday in pursuit of supposedly classified documents singled out by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), Trump claimed the agents even broke into his safe.
“After working and co-operating with the relevant government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate,” Trump said in his statement Monday, adding, “They even broke into my safe!”
“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before,” he added.
Adding to the suspicious circumstances surrounding the FBI raid, the search warrant was signed off by Obama donor Judge Bruce Reinhart, who once represented billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s employees and has a history of anti-Trump tweets.
The FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Lago appeared so heavy-handed overtly politicized that even Trump critics in the media and on the Hill warned of massive political blowback.
