Venice Regional Bayfront Health is in need of a new CEO after Karen Fordham resigns

I heard about this yesterday from a couple people, but never had the time to follow up.  I did not get the press release from the hospital, I guess she only sends them to the Gondo and the Herald………… 

 

Karen Fordham has resigned as the CEO from Venice Hospital and Beryl Ramsey will step in as the interim CEO.   They really did not cover why Karen is leaving and the release basically covered Beryl’s qualifications.   There are rumors of a possible sale since the CHS is financially crippled, but who knows what we will see in the future.   Their rebuild on Venice Ave has been stalled for a while know, which they attribute to changes that no longer put them on a timeline for the buildout, but others speculated that it was that ole financial issues.  You can read the Herald’s writeup by clicking — >>> here.
