School Board Commissioner to donate part of his salary towards a private graduation for North Port and Venice High graduates

The cancellation of the graduations came as a surprise to Eric, as stated in his interview below with FOX13.  He will be donating a part of his Sarasota County School Board salary towards holding an event in North Port and Venice.  Here is some of that information.
Eric Robinson
It looks like we may have unofficial graduation at North Port and Venice High. We have an organizing meeting at 9:30 at the Old World Café this Saturday for North Port. Yes, I do know that Saturday is July 4th. We have a lot to do in a short amount of time. Once I have a date and time for the meeting regarding Venice, I will post it. This is being put on by your community members and not the school district so we need everyone’s help to make this happen for the Class of 2020. As I get additional information I let everyone know. This is a very fluid situation.
