Covid numbers have gone up at Sarasota County schools, after mandating forced masking of the kids

Covid numbers are dropping according to the CDC and Sarasota County hospital numbers indicated a drop as well.  SMH numbers dropped over the past week.  Below are the numbers from the SMH site:

Hospital / ICU Capacity

Today’s patient census: 777

Today’s COVID-positive patient’s total: 241 (253 yesterday – Please note, an incorrect number was posted yesterday, Sept. 2. This is the corrected number)

Today’s ICU census: 108 (106 yesterday)

COVID-positive patients in ICU today: 63 (69 yesterday)

% Unvaccinated COVID-positive patients in the hospital: 83%*

Total hospital beds: 839

ICU bed capacity: 120

Estimate based on vaccination status shared by patients or validated by an official source; this information is updated on Mondays and Thursdays.

SMH has a team of clinicians — ICU doctors, nurses and hospital leaders — who monitor our census and public health indicators to determine if and when we need to increase ICU capacity.

Since there has been a lot of controversy regarding the need for masking children at Sarasota County Schools to stop the spread of Covid.  Unfortunately, it is not working, which is in line with the science and what Dr. Fauci has said in private emails that were released.  I thought I would note that the school district number of Covid positive students has gone up, since mandating mask. They started the week at 877 and finished the week with 914. Quarantined students increase throughout the week by 229 students.

So, tonight’s school board meeting at 7pm should be interesting, when parents that are against mask, call out the school board. The only question is, will Shirley Brown cut their microphone to silence information that does not meet her narrative.
