PBS Reporter Urges Biden To Reverse CDC’s Guidance on ‘No Masks Unless Vaccinated’ Because It Puts ‘People of Color At Risk’

Just when you think the mainstream media can’t get anymore ridiculous on COVID, the White House press pool raises the bar.

PBS reporter Yamiche Alcindor asked Joe Biden’s press secretary Jen Psaki to reverse the CDC’s guidance on no masks unless vaccinated because it puts “people of color at risk.”

Yes, really.

“The largest national nurses union is saying the CDC guidance on masks is putting frontline workers, especially people of color, at risk, and that they’re calling for the CDC to reverse that,” Alcindor said.

“What’s the White House’s stance on that union in particular saying that their members and people of color are at risk?”

Notably, Alcindor routinely defended the CDC’s recommendations during the pandemic when it was politically expedient to do so.

But as soon as the CDC relaxes mask rules for vaccinated people, Alcindor and many other Democrats are left powerless to signal their virtue or easily identify Republicans.

“…people whose main interest is not public health, but whose main interest is power, this new guidance is, as we often say in the news business, a ‘troubling development,’” Fox News host Tucker Carlson noted last week.

“For people like that, letting the vaccinated live without wearing masks raises all kinds of distressing questions beginning with: if people are permitted to dress any way they want to dress, how are we going to control them? And more to the point, if nobody has to wear a mask, how are we going to know who the Republicans are? How can we be certain who to scoff at? Who to feel morally superior to?”
