Sarasota County updates signage to bring more visibility to the public and makes access to petition material a bit easier

We are excited to announce that Sarasota County has recently updated the public hearing notice signage standards to provide better visibility to the public and improved access to petition materials.

Effective immediately, the County is transitioning to professionally produced signs that are approximately 3-foot by 3-foot. There will be one petition type per sign, which means there will be multiple signs for multiple petitions.

The signage has visibly clear lettering—and colored based on the petition type. A link to the County’s petition webpage with a convenient QR code is also included offering citizens a clearer pathway to information.
