Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has been reaccredited by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA)

Sheriff Hoffman is pleased to announce that the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has been reaccredited by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA)

 

Assessors examined all aspects of the sheriff’s office including its policies, management, operations, and support services in October of last year. They found the agency in compliance with all 239 applicable standards, and in their recommendation for re-accreditation commended the agency for its flawless onsite assessment, it’s ninth in a row. This accomplishment earned our agency the commission’s prestigious Excelsior Award for a fourth consecutive time.
