Discarded mask and a dead cat negatively impacts the lovely city of Venice
By Francesco Abbruzzino
This is kind of comical. I mean comical because the Mayor on a regular basis post some vitriolic comments on social media and has been lectured that he needs to control himself or the City of Venice may face a Sunshine Law issue. Yet on the city email, he is using sunshine law to avoid answering questions. Unless something has change since Holic left….. I reference Holic because he use to give detailed responses and I don’t recall any Sunshine Law issues with any of his email responses. There was a sunshine lawsuit regarding texting, but not responding to emails. Now Venice East to Venice Beach is not all within the city limits. So, depending on where the mask or dead cat lies, it could be the city or county that is responsible. I do hope they pick up the dead cat. – Francesco

Happy Holidays!
I regularly bike along US 41 from Venice East to Venice Beach traveling North on the east side of the boulevard.
Who is responsible for removing the staggering amount of debris, along with a number of discarded masks, from our roadsides? Today I even came upon a dead cat.
It breaks my heart to see so much garbage in our lovely city.
Best regards,
Debra
