Aging infrastructure has led to several wastewater and reclaimed water breaches due all the rain from ETA

 

 

There have been several of these over the last two days, due to all the rain from ETA and the burden it has put on the aging infrastructure.

Incident Description
City crews responded to an overflowing manhole. Approximately 9,700 gallons were release due to extreme rainfall cause by hurricane/tropical storm Eta. The manhole was pumped with vactor trucks and hauled to the WWTP until levels subsided. Some of the release entered storm water drains. Samples will be taken.
