Sarasota Police are investigating a shooting on Cocoanut Avenue

We are investigating a shooting that happened in the 2200 block of Cocoanut Avenue, Sarasota, at about 3:45pm. One person has been shot and has been transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with injuries. The victim & suspect are known to one another. Investigation is ongoing.
