Sarasota Sheriff’s Office recommends charges against three Democrat County Commission candidates
This is an interesting story by Florida Politics, which was share with me today.
Jacoby Ogles wrote that the SCSO has determined that Criminal charges should be leveled against three Democratic candidates for accepting donations in excess of the $200 limit. The charges are that Corey Hutchinson, Alice White, and Mark Pienkos for taking in from $1,000 to $2,000 from such organizations as the Democratic Committee and the local county party. The journalist gathers much of his data from the SCSO Probable Cause Affidavits on each of the candidates.
