Venice: Tervis Tumblers files for bankruptcy

Venice: Tervis Tumbler has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, to reorganize and save the company. The company tried closing their distribution center a few months ago and subleasing property, hoping that would buy them some time to overcome the financial obstacles they faced. However, the market conditions brought on by the economic woes that many of us are facing, were just to much to bear. The company is expecting layoffs to take place, but did not provide specifics.
