Incident Description
A contractor running fiber in the City of Sarasota hit a 12″ wastewater force main on 8/31/2020 at approximately 10:30am. The force main was isolated and repaired. Approximately 8,000 gallons were released. Some of that release entered a storm drain that leads to Hudson Bayou. Approximately 4,000 gallons were recovered. Samples will be taken.
