North Port man arrested by US Marshall’s after soliciting sex from an undercover posing as a 13-year-old

Imran Siddiqi was arrested in North Port by the US Marshal service last month.  You may recall Imran from a previous posting.   A couple years ago he became very upset with me, after I posted the flyer illustrating that he was a sexual offender.  The concern was that he worked at Frank’s Theater in Venice and the person that reached out to me, was concerned with him being overly friendly with some kids.  Well last month’s arrest occurred because Imran transferred obscene material to a minor.

 

If convicted on the new charges, he faces 20 years in a federal prison.  Between January 31 and March 6 of this year, Imran engaged in a conversation with an undercover officer that was posing as a 13-year-old girl.   Siddiqi expressed his desire to have sex with her and sent the undercover officer some explicit pictures.  Let’s hope he gets the max of 20 years behind bars.

Under that post individuals started commenting that he was the manager at Frank’s, Imran got pissed off that I shared the information, and the comments went as you can expect on my scoop pages.

 

Well on Thursday I was contacted by anonymous, whose friend lives next to Imran.  They said there was an NPPD officer there and a ton of U.S. Marshall’s and they wanted to know if I had any information.  Well, I had nothing and still have nothing, but it must be a serious issue.

 

He is being held at the Pinellas County jail.  I pulled his arrest records and all it states is that he is awaiting trial and on hold via the US Marshal.  A screen shot is below.  Was it another sexual offender charge or some other issue, we just do not know, but I am sure we will find out soon.
