It’s No Joke! Sarasota County Schools put out a message that making a threat can lead to felony charges

Francesco Abbruzzino, The Uncensored Report, LLC

IT’S NO JOKE: In partnership with the SCSPD and local law enforcement partners, we want to remind all students and families that making a threat is no joke and can lead to felony charges and a life-long impact.

Making threats, even in jest, can have serious consequences, including suspension, expulsion and/or arrest. In addition, they disrupt valuable learning, deplete available law enforcement resources and cost taxpayers money. Parents, please speak to your children about this critical topic and how it can permanently affect their future. For a family resource to get the conversation started, check out the Department of Juvenile Justice resource guide on school threats: https://www.djj.state.fl.us/news/awar…
