๐ŸŽ๐Ÿซ‘๐Ÿ‰ REMINDER! Beginning this Saturday, June 21, the Venice Farmers Market will adopt a newly adjusted layout designed to enhance pedestrian safety and vendor accessibility, while still offering the same beloved Saturday morning experience from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. year-round.

The market will shift from its current location along the 400 block of the eastbound and westbound lanes of West Venice Avenue (adjacent to City Hall); to the parking lot located behind City Hall to the west side of the building, and the portion of northbound Avenue des Parques between Granada and W. Venice avenues (marked on the below map in yellow ๐ŸŸจ).

This change is the result of a collaborative effort between the City of Venice, the Venice Police Department, and Venice Farmers Market management to improve public safety by gradually transitioning special events off major thoroughfares.

๐Ÿš—Public parking will continue to be available along the southbound lane of Ave des Parques, along W. Venice Ave. and Harbor Dr. adjacent to City Hall, the municipal lot next to the Lord-Higel House on Granada Ave., Hecksher Park (near the tennis/pickleball courts), Centennial Park, and other downtown locations.

In addition to this layout shift, the Venice Farmers Market managers are also implementing heat-related safety protocols to protect both visitors and vendors during the summer season which may include early closures if the wet bulb temperature reaches a designated safety threshold.

Together, we are working to ensure your Saturday tradition is both enjoyable and safe as the City plans for a more pedestrian-friendly future. Follow Venice Farmers Market for real-time updates and information.
