Suncoast: Structure fire destroys a home

Structure Fire Response  
 
Just before noon today (June 16), crews responded to a residential structure fire at the corner of Redondo St and Appleton Blvd. Upon arrival, heavy fire was visible from the roof and garage area of a home under construction.

One firefighter was transported for a minor ankle injury out of an abundance of caution. The cause of the fire has been ruled accidental electrical.


 
Responding units: Engine 4, Engine 3, Engine 2, Engine 15, Rescue 4, Rescue 14, Support 1, Battalion 3, County Fire Marshal, FP 7 and the State Fire Marshal.
