Sarasota Police make an arrest in the Selby Gardens golf cart theft

Great news — the stolen golf cart has been located. The individuals responsible have been identified and arrested on charges of burglary and grand theft. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. We’re committed to keeping our community safe and will continue working tirelessly to protect it.

Stolen Golf Cart – Help Identify Suspects

In the early morning hours of May 17th, two individuals were seen climbing the stairwell at Marie Selby Gardens and entering a secured area of the parking garage. They stole a 2008 Club Car Turf 22 Carryall golf cart.

Description of the cart:

• Forest green utility-style golf cart

• Manual dump bed

• Light bar

The suspects were last seen heading southbound on Orange Avenue in the stolen cart.
