Sarasota Police are investigating another shooting

The Sarasota Police Department is investigating a shooting in the 2900 block of Maple Ave.

Patrol officers were alerted of shots fired just after 05:30 this morning.

Upon arrival, officers found an occupied home was struck numerous times. There are no reported injuries from the occupants of the home.
