North Port gears up for an unforgettable Freedom Festival

NORTH PORT, FL — The City of North Port invites the community to come together for an evening of celebration, community spirit and patriotic fun at the 2025 Freedom Festival presented by American Irrigation! This family-friendly event will take place on Friday, July 4, 2025, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at CoolToday Park, located at 18800 W. Villages Pkwy. Admission and parking are free.
Get ready for an unforgettable night full of high-energy entertainment! Enjoy live music by American Made, a special flyover by the Gulf Coast Raptors Formation Flight Team, and a Kids Zone packed with complimentary bounce houses and yard games. The Loveland Center will also offer a low-sensory area for children with special needs. Plus, explore a variety of food and merchandise vendors featuring local flavors and festive finds available for purchase, along with an old-fashioned ticketed Carnival Games section! (subject to on-site card purchases only.)
The highlight of the evening will be a spectacular fireworks show beginning at 9 p.m. (weather permitting). Guests are welcome to watch from inside the stadium or spread out on the Event Lawn. Lawn seating is first-come, first-served, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. For everyone’s safety, please leave personal fireworks, sparklers and pets at home.
Free parking is available outside the stadium, and attendees are encouraged to carpool to reduce congestion. Plan ahead and arrive early to ensure access to stadium parking. The City encourages everyone to keep safety top of mind—slow and safe is the motto of the day.

Merchant and Nonprofit opportunities still available. Merchandise, Government and Non-Profit Vendor applications are now being accepted. If you are interested in participating in Freedom Festival, please complete our online application that can be found at NorthPortFL.gov/Vendor-Opportunities. Spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and applications are carefully reviewed to ensure alignment with event goals.
