Sarasota man arrested on two counts of homicide

Dylan Pagnotta was arrested last month and charged with weapon offenses.  Yesterday Dalan was arrested again and charged with two counts of homicide. 

According to the PBA, SCSO responded to a call by James Bear on March 23, stating that he had been shot at several times.   James alleged that he had been shot at by Dylan Pagnotta.

Dylan had shown up at James’ house with Taylor Polubinsky at his home.  James stated that Taylor tried to get into his home, while Dylan sat in the truck in front of the home.  That is when Taylor allegedly started to attack James, once he was able to break through a dog door into the home.

James made it outside and that is when Dylan allegedly raised a gun from his truck and fired about 5 shots at James.   James took off running into the home and was not hit by any of the bullets.  His son was in the home and was not hit by the bullets that struck the hom.

That is what makes this arrest a bit interesting.   According to the PCA, James was not struck by any bullets.  So, I am not sure if the homicide charges are from this incident or another.   Dylan was bonded out of jail the day of the arrest on 3.24.   The warrant which was issued on 3.16 for the homicide is locked down and there is no other information.
