Meth around and find out. Recently, members of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) conducted a residential search warrant on Rice Terrace, surrounding a narcotics investigation.
During a search of the residence, over 1 Kilogram (2.2 pounds) of methamphetamine was recovered along with 10 grams of fentanyl, xanax pills, steroids, and a handgun. That’s A LOT.
During the operation, Jean C. Sanchez (07/07/1995) was arrested on multiple narcotics-related crimes to include:
– Trafficking in Methamphetamine over 200 Grams (3 counts)
– Trafficking in Fentanyl
– Possession of a Controlled Substance (steroids)
– Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell (xanax)
– Using a Vehicle or Structure for Trafficking Narcotics (2 counts)
– Use 2-Way Communication Device (2 counts)
“These criminals just don’t seem to get it. We are watching their moves and strike when our case is made,” said Chief Todd Garrison. “Those who choose to traffic harmful, illegal drugs in our city will be pursued and prosecuted to the fullest extent. You’re not getting away with it for long.”
