North Port Aquatic Center announces extended summer hours

Summer fun is heating up at the North Port Aquatic Center! Beginning Friday, May 30, 2025, the facility will launch its new summer schedule, offering more opportunities for residents and visitors to make a splash.
The North Port Aquatic Center’s new summer hours will be Saturday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.—giving families and individuals more flexibility to enjoy everything the center has to offer, including evening swim time under the lights on Fridays.
During summer hours, guests will have full access to the entire facility, which includes thrilling water slides, a relaxing lazy river, the kid-friendly Sting Ray Shuffle, and the interactive Pelican Playground Splashpad.
“We’re excited to extend our hours on Fridays to give families more time to unwind and have fun together after the work week,” said Aquatics Manager Devon Poulos. “Whether you’re cooling off in the lazy river or catching a sunset swim, our goal is to make summer memories more accessible for everyone.”
In addition to extended hours, the North Port Aquatic Center is also available for private rentals both during and after regular operating hours this summer—making it an ideal venue for birthday parties, family reunions, or special celebrations. Guests can choose from individual rental spaces in 10×10 or 10×20 sizes or opt to rent the entire facility after hours for a truly exclusive experience.
