Sarasota man arrested after shooting and killing a cat

George Boyd finds himself in a bit of trouble after getting arrested this week for an incident that took place last November.  

George owns Lucky’s Boat and Storge, where a cat decided to hang out inside a couple of the boats.  Apparently, the cat damaged the interior of a few boats, according to the Sarasota Police. 

The cat has been a problem for the business, with George calling animal control a few times.  No action was taken, so George had enough and decided to take care of the situation.  That is when George took out a pellet gun and shot the cat, which ran into the street after being shot and died.
