1 hospitalized after shooting in Venice

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an aggravated battery, which occurred at 5071 Olivia Rd., Venice earlier today.
 
Based on the investigation thus far, there is an active arrest warrant for Kevin Johnson regarding the aggravated battery with a deadly weapon charge.
