“Resilient SRQ” funds come from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s community block grants. This is to assist with recovery and mitigation efforts from hurricanes Debby, Helene and Milton. But Sarasota County received more than $200 million in funds for Hurricane Ian recovery as well. – WTSP
