Beach University returns to Siesta Beach this March

SARASOTA COUNTY – The annual Beach University series is back at Siesta Beach this March, offering free, one-hour educational sessions every Thursday at 9:30 a.m.

Join Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources, with assistance from local volunteers, to explore topics about the coastal environment.

Location: Historic Main Pavilion, 948 Beach Road, Siesta Key

Time: 9:30-10:30 a.m.

  • March 6: Water: It’s All Connected.
  • March 13: Sarasota’s Wild Beaches.
  • March 20: From Reefs to Trails: Protecting and Enhancing Our Coastal Environment.
  • March 27: Exploring Biology and Research Techniques for Florida Manatee Conservation.
