Sarasota: Arrest made in 1/18/25 shooting in Sarasota

Everett White, 44, of Sarasota, was arrested Monday morning with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force in connection with a shooting earlier this month in North Sarasota.

Sarasota Police responded to the 4300 block of N. Tamiami Trail shortly before 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025. One adult was injured in the shooting, which appears to have been isolated in nature.

White is currently being held in the Sarasota County Jail without bond. He is charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon and Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon.
